illustra'lies – illustrations that make you happy
Behind illustra'lies is Belgian illustrator Annelies Fraeyman, whose colorful and cheerful illustrations are created with one simple goal in mind: to make people smile. Her playful style is full of expressive characters, vibrant colors, and charming details, so you discover something new every time you look at them.

From greeting cards and gifts to custom illustrations and licensed collections, every design is created with warmth, humor, and a love of storytelling. Annelies believes that even the smallest illustration can brighten someone’s day and turn everyday moments into little moments of happiness. With illustra’lies, she hopes to spread smiles—one illustration at a time.

I'm always open to new creative collaborations—from illustrating a charming children's book to creating unique works of art for fashion, lifestyle, and inspirational brands.

• Sketchbook or iPad? Both! I jot down my first ideas on whatever piece of paper I can find. Then I grab my digital brush to add color and bring everything to life.
• Black-and-white or color? Definitely color. Beautiful color combinations instantly make me happy.
• Creativity in the morning or at night? Creativity in the morning. That's when my ideas flow best.
• Perfectly planned or happy accidents? Happy accidents. They often happen when I'm completely in the zone.
• Details or the big picture? Both. I love the big picture just as much as I love the small details.
• Coffee shop or studio (or somewhere else)? Studio. My own little creative world.
Museum visit or nature walk? Nature walk . It’s the best place to recharge and find inspiration.
• Design on your own or collaborate? You can draw on your own, but bringing a project to life always works better when you collaborate.
