I’ve been drawing my whole life. As soon as my grip was strong enough, there was always a pencil or pen between my fingers. In high school, I attended KSO and went on to study comics at the academy in Kortrijk—the city where I was born, raised, and still love to call home.
After completing my studies in Graphic and Digital Media (read: graphic design), I gradually switched from traditional drawing styles to using a graphics tablet. I really love the smooth, clean style of vector graphics (I’m less of a fan of pixels). In recent months, I’ve rediscovered my love for traditional pen, paper, and acrylic paint (partly due to the onslaught of AI-generated art).
